Ford B-MAX - five-seater monocab, built on the platform of the sixth generation Ford Fiesta. The car combines compact dimensions and a spacious interior. The main feature of the Ford B-MAX is the sliding rear doors, as well as the lack of a B-pillar. This design provides a comfortable disembarkation or landing and is useful, for example, in a cramped parking lot.

Like many monocabs, the Ford B-MAX has a wide range of interior transformation possibilities. The volume of the luggage compartment is 304 liters, but with the rear sofa folded down, its capacity can be increased to 1,372 liters. Summing up the results of crash tests in 2012, the Euro NCAP committee named the Ford B-MAX the safest car in its class.

The model appeared on the market in early 2013. Ford B-MAX comes to us with two petrol engines of 1.4 (90 hp) and 1.6 liters (105 hp). The first engine is offered in the base Trend, while the second engine is offered in the more equipped Trend Plus and Titanium versions. The 90-horsepower engine is only available in a pair with a five-speed manual, and the 105-horsepower unit is available with a six-speed Powershift dual-clutch “robot”.

Already in the initial configuration, the Ford B-MAX is equipped with a full set of airbags, including side curtains and a driver's knee airbag, ABS, emergency braking assistance, power windows, air conditioning, a CD / MP3 radio with 6 speakers and the ability to connect external devices via connectors AUX or USB.

The Trend Plus version adds ESP motion control, front fog lamps and 15-inch alloy wheels to the list of basic equipment.

The top-of-the-range Titanium package features a chrome finish on the body, as well as the presence of daytime LED lights, climate control, armrests for front and rear passengers, heated seats and windshield, keyless entry and engine start, light and rain sensors, a multimedia system with a color display and the ability to synchronize mobile phones using Bluetooth.

Ford B-MAX is produced in Romania.
