Ford Mondeo Hatchback - a restyled version of the model, introduced in 2010. Will soon give way to a new generation Ford Mondeo, whose debut in Ukraine is scheduled for 2014.

Despite the fact that formally the luggage compartment of a hatchback is slightly inferior to the “hold” of a sedan (528 versus 535 liters), in practice it will be in a much more advantageous position. Thanks to access to the cargo area via a door that opens entirely with glass, with the rear seatbacks folded down, the sedan-like liftback will be able to fit 1,448 liters of luggage.

The range of engines for Ukraine includes three power plants:

• gasoline unit Duratec 1.6 TI-VCT (120 hp, 160 Nm);

• turbodiesel Duratorq 1.6 TDCI (115 hp, 270 Nm);

• turbodiesel Duratorq 2.0 TDCI (140 hp, 320 Nm).

The first two motors are aggregated exclusively by manual transmissions: a gasoline engine is paired with a five-speed transmission, and a diesel engine with a six-speed one.

More powerful 140 hp diesel It is offered both with “mechanics” and with a six-band “robot” Powershift.

The fourth generation Ford Mondeo was produced in Belgium.
