Ford Focus hatchback - front-wheel drive five-seater C-class hatchback. The premiere of the third generation of the model took place at the Detroit International Auto Show in 2010. The car has slightly increased in size, received a completely new design, improved interior sound insulation.

An interesting innovation was the automatic blinds in front of the radiator, which accelerate the warm-up of the engine and thus reduce the emission of harmful substances. While the engine is cold, they are in the closed position and open only after the engine reaches the optimum operating temperature.

In addition, the proportion of the use of ordinary and reinforced steel in the Ford Focus structure increased by 50% and 26%, respectively. Thanks to this, body rigidity has improved by 15%.

Ford Focus is supplied to Ukraine only with turbocharged gasoline engines of the EcoBoost family with a volume of 1 liter, which, depending on the modification, develop 100 or 125 hp. and 170 Nm (the torque of a more powerful unit in OverBoost mode is 200 Nm). The power plants are aggregated with five- and six-speed manual gearboxes. 

An alternative to manual transmissions is the PowerShift dual-clutch robotic transmission, which so far is only offered by the 1.6-liter 1.6-liter naturally aspirated engine (125 hp, 159 Nm).

Ford Focus supplied to the Ukrainian market is produced in Germany.
