Ford Grand C-MAX - the Grand prefix in the title means that we are not facing a five-seater C-MAX, but its seven-seater modification, the market debut of which took place at the end of 2010. The landing formula in the car is 2 + 3 + 2.

The model differs from the usual "S-Max" by an increased length of 140 mm (4,520 mm) and a height of 58 mm (1,684 mm). The main external difference is the design of the rear. The seven-seat Grand C-MAX has a slightly raised roof and a completely different fifth door design.

The presence of the third row of seats forced the developers to install sliding rear doors on the model, thanks to which it will be convenient to enter and exit the car not only for second-row passengers, but also for rear riders. It has the same construction Mazda5, which is one of the main rivals of Ford in the Ukrainian market. In addition, the Grand C-MAX competitors also include seven-seater Chevrolet Orlando, Toyota Verso And Volkswagen Touran.

The car is delivered to Ukraine with several versions of Duratec gasoline "aspirated" with a volume of 1.6 liters. For initial configurations, its 105-horsepower modification is offered, and for richer versions - 125-horsepower. The transmission is a five-speed manual.

Serial production of the Ford Grand C-MAX has been launched at the company's plant in Spain.
